Mike Ditka’s Naples Home Sells After Just Two Weeks

Former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka has sold his Naples, Florida home within two weeks of listing it for $1.375 million. The house was built by Ditka and his wife Diana in 2002 after they purchased the property for $70,000. In a normal market, homes in Naples typically take one to three months to sell.

Listing agent Celeste Cunningham said the quick sale was due to several factors, including the home’s competitive price and its association with an American legend. “Not only was the Ditkas’ home priced competitively, offering a great value for a Naples home with outstanding features,” she said. “The fact that an American Legend resided in it helped as well with a quick sale.”

The single-story home spans 3,400 square feet and features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a den. The primary suite includes a steam shower, dual vanities, and two separate lavatories. The property also boasts a three-car garage, an outdoor kitchen, patio space, a swimming pool, and hot tub.

Ditka, 85, moved back to Chicago with his wife in November after selling the home. The final sale price and details about the buyers were not immediately available. However, Cunningham confirmed that Ditka received numerous offers from out-of-state buyers who are eager to own this unique piece of American sports history.
