A group of young investors were shaken by the ASX’s biggest one-day fall in five years, but instead of panic-selling, they decided to invest more heavily in equities as professionals cut back on their own portfolios. Amy Cahill, a 30-year-old communications specialist from Sydney with a $20,000 portfolio, was among those who took advantage of the opportunity.
