The Youth Jubilee, a major Catholic event, is set to take place from July 28 to August 3 in Rome, attracting hundreds of thousands of young people from around the world. The festival will feature prayer vigils, mass, cultural events, and concerts.
Approximately one million pilgrims are expected to attend the Prayer Vigil with Pope Leo XIV on August 2 at Tor Vergata. This number is expected to increase when Pope Leo celebrates Mass on August 3.
The event has been organized in collaboration with various authorities, including the Vatican’s Dicastery for Evangelization and the National Department of Civil Protection. Fiera Roma will also host 25,000 young people, providing a safe and comfortable stay with medical facilities available 24 hours a day.
Throughout the week, artistic and cultural events will be held in Rome, including concerts, performances, and discussions on spirituality and friendship. A penitential day is also scheduled for August 1, ahead of the Prayer Vigil.
The event promises to be a unique experience for young people, with opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with others from different cultures and backgrounds.
