Minnesota Wild’s 25th Anniversary Season Schedule Revealed

The Minnesota Wild will celebrate their 25th anniversary season, but they’ll face challenges from the World Junior Championship and a packed NHL schedule. From Dec. 27 to Jan. 10, the team will vacate the Grand Casino Arena due to the tournament. After the holiday break, they’ll embark on a seven-game road trip across North America, including stops in Las Vegas, San Jose, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

The Wild’s season opener is set for Oct. 9 against St. Louis, followed by home games against Columbus and other teams. They’ll also take part in a six-game homestand featuring Utah, San Jose, Winnipeg, Pittsburgh, Vancouver, and Nashville from Oct. 25 to Nov. 4.

The team will miss the Winter Olympics from Feb. 5-25 and conclude their season with a three-game road trip before the final game on April 14 against Anaheim. A commemorative sweater will be unveiled next month, honoring years past and featuring several returning alumni. The Wild’s schedule includes appearances by recent signing Nico Sturm, who won a Stanley Cup with Colorado in 2022, including a presentation of his latest ring on Jan. 24.
