A missile from Yemen landed in the Tel Aviv-Jaffa area on Saturday, injuring 14 people. According to the Israeli military, it failed to intercept the missile, which fell in a residential town. The ambulance service reported mild injuries, with some patients requiring hospital treatment.
The Houthis, an Iran-aligned group, claimed responsibility for the attack and said it targeted a “military facility” in Jaffa. This marks the latest incident in a series of drone and missile strikes against Israel by the Houthis. The Israeli military has responded with airstrikes on Houthi-held parts of Yemen.
In recent days, tensions have escalated between Israel and Iran-aligned groups in the region. On Thursday, Israel launched strikes against energy infrastructure in Yemen, threatening further attacks against the Houthis.
