Missing Pizza Delivery Driver Found Dead After Mental Health Crisis

A 42-year-old Apple Valley man who went missing while delivering pizzas has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Shuefaub Xiong was last seen leaving his job at Domino’s on January 14, but failed to deliver four pizzas to customers in the area. His vehicle was found abandoned in Superior, Wisconsin, several days later.

Police received multiple reports of Xiong being spotted in his car, leading them to investigate a possible mental health crisis. When officers arrived at his residence, they found Xiong’s brother and others inside, and attempted to get him to exit safely. However, Xiong became agitated and turned a gun on himself.

The incident has raised concerns about the importance of mental health support. Local authorities have provided resources for those struggling with suicidal thoughts or mental health crises. The public is encouraged to ask questions about an individual’s mental state, seek professional help, and remove potential means of harm from their environment. If you suspect someone may be at risk, call 988 or seek immediate medical attention.
