Model and Actress Dayle Haddon Dies in Carbon Monoxide Leak Incident

Model and actress Dayle Haddon, known for her work on “The World’s Greatest Athlete” and “Madame Claude,” has died after a suspected carbon monoxide leak at the home of Hallmark actor Marc Blucas in Bucks County. Blucas is married to Haddon’s daughter, Ryan Haddon. Two people, including CBS News contributor were taken to a hospital for treatment.

According to police, Solebury Township authorities received a 911 call about a 76-year-old man who had passed out on the first floor of the property. The man was removed and taken to a hospital in New Jersey. His status is unknown.

Dayle Haddon rose to fame as a model in the 1970s, appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition in 1973 and being named one of Harper’s Bazaar’s “Ten Most Beautiful Women” twice. She later worked as an actress and became an ambassador for UNICEF.

The incident occurred at Blucas’ home, which was built in 1711 and bought by the couple for $1 million in 2012. The New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company detected high levels of carbon monoxide in the home, leading to the hospitalization of two people.
