Monday’s Wordle puzzle has a unique hint: frown. The clue is that this Wordle has more consonants than vowels. After analyzing the game with Wordle Bot, I found the solution to be SCOWL.
In my competitive gameplay, I solved the puzzle in three attempts and earned 1 point. If you’re playing competitively, remember that guessing correctly in one attempt scores 3 points, two attempts score 2 points, and so on. Fridays are bonus days, doubling your points.
The word “scowl” comes from Middle English scoulen, derived from Old Norse “skūla,” meaning to be afraid or shy. It’s a fitting answer for this puzzle.
