Capcom is hyping up fans of the upcoming game Monster Hunter Wilds with a sneak peek at its new region, Iceshard Cliffs. This icy land will feature gorges constructed of ice and rock, glaciers, and treacherous caves, all covered in snowy blizzards.
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Director Yuya Tokuda shared some exciting details about the new locale, including a special apex monster called Jin DHadaad, which resembles a dragon. Another fan favorite, Gore Magala, will also return.
The Iceshard Cliffs region promises to be a thrilling experience for hunters, with new wildlife roaming around the snowy sites. The developers have emphasized that this region will not disappoint fans on the hunting front.
Tsujimoto and Tokuda also shared some tips for players facing tougher monsters, such as Arkveld and Nerscylla. They advised using SOS flares to team up with other players or focus strikes to deal more damage during big attacks.
As part of IGN’s Fan Fest coverage, Capcom has announced a special item pack for fan viewers, including raw meat, well-done steak, energy drinks, dash juice, and ancient potion. This Hunter Help: Strength Pack will be available starting February 24 through IGN Rewards codes.
Monster Hunter Wilds is set to release on February 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, with a treasure trove of extra content waiting to keep the adventure going.
