Capcom has released a patch for Monster Hunter Wilds to address the ongoing issue with story progression in Main Mission: Chapter 5-2 “A World Turned Upside Down.” The bug prevented players from progressing through the chapter due to a missing NPC, causing frustration among the community.
The update will be deployed tomorrow morning on March 4 and may cause brief disconnections during its release. However, players will be able to resume their sessions once they’ve updated. This fix brings a welcome relief to the community, who have been eager for a solution to this issue.
While this patch addresses the main problem, Capcom has acknowledged performance and optimization concerns from PC players. The company expects a title update in April, which will introduce a new endgame area and more monster hunting action.
Despite these updates, Monster Hunter Wilds continues to attract large player counts, shattering records on Steam and its own series. To help new players get started, guides and walkthroughs for the game are available, including a tier list of weapons and tips for multiplayer play.
