Capcom has acknowledged a critical bug in its hit game Monster Hunter Wilds that prevents further story progress past chapter 5-2. The issue was identified and promised to be fixed through an upcoming patch, set to drop at midnight PST on March 4. However, players should be prepared for the possibility of being kicked from online sessions immediately upon release.
Players who have yet to reach this point in the game are advised to pause their campaign or prepare for an update. The fix will also address known issues with the Ingredient Center and Grill a Meal. Despite performance problems with the PC version, Monster Hunter Wilds remains one of Steam’s most-played games, with 1,384,608 concurrent players recorded on Saturday, solidifying its position as one of the platform’s top titles.
