Monster Hunter Wilds Patch Brings Stability Improvements and New Content

Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds is celebrating its one-month anniversary with a major patch, set to arrive later this week. The update will address performance issues on PC, which have plagued the game since launch, and bring new features and content.

The team has acknowledged stability problems, particularly on Steam, and are committed to ongoing improvements. “We’ll aim to make continual steps forward in this area and respond to critical issues,” said director Yuya Tokuda.

The update will include fixes for VRAM usage and DirectStorage upgrades, with more stability improvements planned in future patches. While PC players have faced significant performance issues, including framerate stuttering and crashes, the game has still seen a surge in popularity, selling over 10 million copies in its first month.

New content includes Mizutsune, a High-Rank version of Zoh Shia, as well as Arch-tempered monsters and a Grand Hub for socializing. Additional quality-of-life and balance adjustments will also be made, including a buff to hammers.
