Capcom has released a new patch for Monster Hunter Wilds, addressing several bugs and issues that were plaguing the game. The update, version 1.000.04.00, is now available on all platforms, and players must download and apply it to continue playing online.
The patch fixes a progression-blocking bug in Chapter 5-2 “A World Turned Upside Down,” allowing players to progress without interruption. However, Capcom warns of several other issues that are still being addressed, including network errors that can occur when firing an SOS flare immediately after starting a quest.
Players should also be aware of bugs related to Palico attacks and Link Members’ visibility in certain areas. The patch also addresses issues with the “Grill a Meal” and “Ingredient Center” features not being unlocked, as well as problems with map navigation and monster behavior.
In addition to these fixes, Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds has sold over 8 million copies across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in just three days, making it the company’s fastest-selling title ever. However, its user rating on Steam remains mixed.
To stay up-to-date with the latest patch notes and game information, players can visit Capcom’s official website or follow their social media channels for the latest news and updates.
