Monster Hunter Wilds director Yuya Tokuda has shared the game’s future roadmap, outlining planned Title Updates and additional goals. The first big update will drop on April 4, followed by a seasonal event called Festival of Accord: Blossomdance from April 23 to May 7. A new monster, Arch-tempered Rey Dau, is set to arrive on April 30 through May 21.
In the end-of-May update, an unannounced Capcom collaboration and “other additional features” will be added, with Title Update 2 planned for summer, featuring a new monster and seasonal event. Tokuda confirmed that more free updates are coming beyond that.
The director also addressed feedback from launch, promising various adjustments to make the game more enjoyable, including changes to weapon balance and performance improvements. A focus on quality-of-life updates is expected, with features like the Grand Hub and improved UI/UX.
