Monthly Pot Use by Teens Linked to Psych Disorders

Using marijuana just once a month or less as a teenager can harm mental health and school performance. New research shows that teens who use the drug occasionally are at higher risk for developing psychiatric disorders, such as depression and anxiety. This is despite efforts by many states to legalize recreational marijuana. Experts worry that easy access to potent forms of the drug may lead to new health issues among teenagers.
