The anticipation continues to build for NBC’s milestone celebration of Saturday Night Live (SNL) as more stars have joined the festivities. The network is airing a special kickoff event, “SNL50: The Red Carpet,” live across NBC, E!, and Peacock on Sunday night.
Hosted by Willie Geist and Leslie Jones, the red-carpet interview program will feature appearances by Adam Driver, Amy Poehler, Andy Samberg, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Chevy Chase, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Murphy, Fred Armisen, Garrett Morris, Jane Curtin, Jason Sudeikis, Jimmy Fallon, John Mulaney, Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Kim Kardashian, Kristen Wiig, Laraine Newman, Martin Short, Maya Rudolph, Miley Cyrus, Molly Shannon, Pete Davidson, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning, Quinta Brunson, Robert De Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Seth Meyers, Steve Martin, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell, and Woody Harrelson.
Willie Geist, who hosts NBC News’ Sunday Today with Willie Geist, will also appear as a host on the event. Leslie Jones, an SNL alum with three Emmy nominations, will join Geist on the red carpet for interviews.
