Moto G Stylus 2025 Boasts Fast Charging and Long Battery Life

Motorola’s new Moto G Stylus is set to hit shelves in 2025 with a feature that could make it stand out from more expensive smartphones: superfast 68W wired charging. This fast-charging technology is typically found on higher-end phones, but Motorola is now offering it at a lower price point of $400.

In comparison, the Moto G Power, which costs $300, offers slower 30W charging and a similar 5,000mAh battery. However, if the Stylus holds true to this pattern, users may be able to recharge their phone from empty to nearly full within 30 minutes.

To compete with more expensive smartphones, Motorola is focusing on adding features like fast charging to its budget-friendly phones. The Moto G Stylus also comes with 15W wireless charging, but requires Motorola’s own TurboPower wireless charger.

The phone boasts a range of features, including the Sketch to Image feature, which uses artificial intelligence to bring drawings to life. The Stylus also supports AI photo enhancement and other Google AI features.

Specs-wise, the Moto G Stylus has a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 3,000-nit max brightness level, and IP68 water protection. It’s equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

On the inside, the phone features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and 256GB of storage. Motorola offers two years of software updates and three years of security updates with the Moto G Stylus.

While the phone has some impressive specs, there are concerns about software and security support. Unlike Samsung and Google, which provide longer support periods, Motorola’s offer may not be as attractive to users who prioritize these aspects. However, for those prioritizing fast charging speeds and long battery life, the Moto G Stylus may still be worth considering.
