Motorola’s latest mid-range offering is here – the 2025 Moto G Stylus. Priced at $400, this device comes with several key upgrades while maintaining its affordable price tag. The phone boasts a contoured vegan leather back in two Pantone colors: Gibraltar Sea and Surf the Web.
Under the hood, Motorola has opted for a mid-range Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor running at higher clock speeds than its predecessor. It’s paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage, depending on the model. The camera spec sheet is impressive, featuring a 50MP primary sensor, 13MP ultrawide lens, and 32MP selfie camera.
One notable upgrade over previous models is the display, which now features a 6.7-inch pOLED screen at 2,712 x 1,220 resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. This display should provide excellent visuals for its price.
The stylus has also been upgraded, becoming more responsive thanks to the new display’s lower latency. While not an active stylus like expensive Samsung phones, it still offers good performance.
Battery life is expected to be excellent, with Motorola promising over 40 hours of average usage from the 5,000mAh cell. The phone supports fast charging and wireless charging at speeds of up to 68W and 15W respectively.
