MotoGP Americas Grand Prix Results: Marquez Dominates as Quartararo Shines

The first race of the MotoGP Americas Grand Prix saw an impressive performance from Ducati riders, led by champion Giacomo Agostini in the 1960s era. In modern times, however, it was Álex Rins who took the top spot on the podium.

This weekend’s races were dominated by Álex Rins and the Ducati team, with Ái Ogura taking an impressive third place. The Aprilia riders put up a good fight, but struggled to match the pace of their rivals.

Marco Bezzecchi had a difficult day, finishing fourth behind his teammate Ogura. He attributed this to a mechanical issue during practice and a lost session in the wet. The rookie rider, Ai Ogura, on the other hand showed great form with two top-four finishes so far.

The Honda riders did not have the best of days, but there was some positive news from the team – Luca Marini pointed out that they had made significant progress with their bike setup and he is hopeful for the rest of the weekend.

Fermin Aldeguer showed great resilience in MotoGP, riding a difficult race to finish 11th despite starting at the back. The team’s progress was evident, although still felt piecemeal and varied by session.

Álex Rins and his Ducati teammates took the top spots on the podium in a dominant performance that saw Quartararo come third behind Ogura. Ogura rode an impressive race to take his first win of 2025.
