Motorola Razr+ 2025 Leaked in New Colorway, Offers Unique Wood Finish

Motorola’s upcoming flip phone, the Razr+ 2025, has been spotted in green and Orion/Rio Red colorways. However, a recent leak reveals that the device may also be available in a third color option featuring a unique wood finish, similar to the Moto Edge 50 Ultra’s Nordic Wood design.

The new colorway was showcased by credible leaker Evan Blass on X (Twitter), who shared a GIF highlighting the device’s appearance. The image suggests that the device’s rear is coated with actual wood or features a textured material intended to replicate the wooden look and feel.

Despite initial expectations of major design changes, the upcoming Razr+ 2025 appears to retain its predecessor’s internal 6.9-inch pOLED display and edge-to-edge cover display. The only notable change is the removal of two small speaker slits at the bottom of the device in favor of a single, larger one.

The device is expected to run on the current top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, potentially making it the first US-launched foldable device powered by this new Qualcomm chipset. RAM and storage options are expected to remain unchanged at 256GB/12GB, with the same 4,000mAh battery that powered the Moto Razr+ 2024.

The recent leak may push Motorola to face increased competition in the flip phone landscape, as Samsung is rumored to be leveling the playing field with its Galaxy Z Flip 7’s edge-to-edge cover display.
