Professional wrestler Jon Moxley was left injured after a brutal match on the March 19th episode of AEW Dynamite. During his Street Fight bout against Darby Cope, the spiked bat used by his opponent became lodged in his back. Despite Wheeler Yuta’s efforts to pull it out, the spikes were stuck, causing significant pain and bleeding.
The incident occurred during a chaotic match that saw several other wrestlers involved. Jon Moxley ultimately emerged victorious after choking Cope out, but not before suffering a serious injury. The severity of the injury is currently unknown, with reports suggesting that Moxley needed medical attention to remove the spikes from his back.
With this incident, Jon Moxley’s focus will now shift towards defending the AEW World Championship against Swerve Strickland at AEW Dynasty.
