Michigan State basketball has released its road schedule for the 2025-26 season, taking on some of the toughest teams in the Big Ten. The Spartans will play at Purdue, Wisconsin, and Nebraska, while also returning to the Pacific Northwest to face Oregon and Washington for the first time. Tom Izzo’s team will look to break their seven-game losing streak against Purdue, which began after a lone win by Matt Painter’s team in 2014.
MSU will also face Michigan, Indiana, and Rutgers twice, providing three more challenging road games for the coach. The Spartans have struggled at Rutgers in recent years, but broke a three-game losing streak with a win at Madison Square Garden last season. They will not make a trip to Los Angeles next season after suffering consecutive losses to USC and UCLA.
The full schedules with dates will be released later this summer or early fall. For now, the Spartans’ road schedule is set for Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Washington, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Ohio State, UCLA, and USC.
