CNN anchors Sara Sidner and Stephanie Elam shared their memories of late MTV video jockey Ananda Lewis on air, remembering her as a friend who took a holistic approach to treating her breast cancer. Lewis, one of the first big video jockeys on MTV, died earlier this week after a battle with breast cancer. Her friend Sidner revealed that she too has stage 3 breast cancer and spoke about how it changed her life. The two women discussed their journeys in an October interview, where Lewis shared her natural approach to healing and the positive impact it had on her life. Elam visited Lewis the day before her death and said Lewis was at peace with her decision, having come to terms with her diagnosis months earlier.
