Multiple Car Recalls Issued by NHTSA

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued multiple recalls for over 120,000 vehicles, including Tesla Cybertrucks and Ford models. Here’s a breakdown of the recalls:

Tesla is recalling over 46,000 Cybertrucks due to a trim panel that may detach from the vehicle. The recall affects vehicles built between November 2023 and February 27.

Ford Motor Company has recalled several models for various issues, including:

* A backup camera video output failure in 2020-2023 Ford Explorers and Lincoln Aviators (49,399 affected)
* Incorrectly fixed body and power train control modules that may fail to detect a change in the 12-volt battery state of charge in 2021-2024 Bronco Sport and 2022-2023 Maverick vehicles (15,123 affected)
* A rearview camera display issue in 2021-2022 Edge vehicles due to a software error (2,250 affected)

Ford also recalled certain 2025 Super Duty F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks for steering column issues. The recall involves inspecting the steering column serial numbers and replacing the steering column as necessary.

Affected vehicle owners can check their VIN on the NHTSA website to see if they are affected by these recalls.
