Several popular products have been recalled due to serious safety concerns, including QVC Oven Gloves, Anker Bluetooth speakers, and Polaris off-road vehicles.
QVC is recalling over a million pairs of its Temp-tations Oven Gloves due to insufficient heat protection. The Consumer Protection Safety Commission has received 162 reports of minor burns, with 92 cases reported since August 2018. Affected models were sold online and on QVC’s platforms from August 2018 through August 2024.
Anker is recalling around 69,000 lithium-ion battery-powered Bluetooth speakers due to a risk of overheating. Thirty-three reports of overheating have been made, resulting in small fires and one minor burn injury. The affected models were sold on Amazon.com from March 2023 through October 2023.
Polaris is recalling its RZR XP 100 and XP 4 1000 Recreational Vehicles due to a risk of the battery post becoming exposed and causing an electrical short. There have been three reports of fires, although no injuries have been reported. The vehicles were sold nationwide from April 2023 through July 2024.
Users are advised to stop using these products immediately and contact the manufacturer for instructions on how to receive a refund or replacement.
