Multiple Shootings Hit US Cities on Same Day

A day of violence in the United States has seen at least 11 people shot outside a New York club, while a separate attack in New Orleans left 15 people dead. The incidents occurred near music venues and public areas, with authorities responding quickly to prevent further harm.

In Jamaica, Queens, the shooting happened near the Amazura Concert Hall, prompting an urgent response from emergency services. No victims were critically injured, but the NYPD reported that all those affected are expected to survive.

Meanwhile, in New Orleans, a suspect drove an SUV into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street, killing ten and injuring several others. The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, had reportedly planned to kill his family and join the terrorist organization ISIS. FBI agents believe he may not have acted alone, and are seeking information about potential accomplices.

President Joe Biden has offered condolences to the families of victims, urging people not to jump to conclusions. The investigation into the New Orleans attack is ongoing, with authorities warning that “nobody should make assumptions” about the situation.

In a separate incident in Las Vegas, a Tesla vehicle caught fire and exploded outside President-elect Donald Trump’s hotel, killing one person and injuring seven others. The truck was found to be full of fireworks and explosives, and authorities have confirmed that the external frame of the Cybertruck suffered limited damage during the explosion.
