Music Executive Irv Gotti Dies After Hip-Hop Empire Rise

Irv Gotti, co-founder of Murder Inc. Records and former executive at Def Jam Recordings, has died. The music industry veteran built a hip-hop empire in the early 2000s, launching careers for Ja Rule and Ashanti.
