A new classic has been added to the Nintendo 64 library – Ridge Racer 64. Originally released in 2000, this arcade-style racing game was developed by Nintendo Software Technologies under license from Namco. It predates its PlayStation counterpart and is notable for being a Nintendo-internal product never before released in Japan. The game also served as a basis for the DS launch window title Ridge Racer DS.
