NASA Names Joel Graham as New AA for Legislative Affairs

NASA has announced the appointment of Joel Graham as its new associate administrator for the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs at NASA Headquarters in Washington. As part of this role, Graham will be responsible for leading communications with the U.S. Congress and serving as a senior advisor to agency leadership on legislative matters.

With over 15 years of experience in both government and private sectors, Graham brings a strong track record of shaping policy through the legislative process. His previous roles include being a partner at the law firm Meeks, Butera and Israel, where he advised clients on complex aerospace and defense issues, as well as a professional staff member for the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation under Chairman Roger Wicker.

Graham’s appointment comes after serving as counsel to Senator David Perdue of Georgia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgia College and earned his law degree from Mercer University School of Law. The NASA community is welcoming Graham to his new role.
