The NASCAR Cup Series is set to take over historic North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina on Sunday for the annual NASCAR All-Star Race. Twenty-three drivers will compete for a $1 million prize, with 20 qualifying automatically and two gaining entrance through the All-Star Open.
Brad Keselowski won the first heat race to secure the pole position for Sunday’s race. Christopher Bell took second place in the heat races and will start on the outside of the front row. The starting lineup was determined by Saturday’s heat races, with the top 20 drivers locking in their spots through automatic qualification and the remaining three securing their positions through the All-Star Open.
The NASCAR All-Star Open saw Carson Hocevar emerge as the winner, taking charge on the final restart to surge ahead. John Hunter Nemecheck finished second, while Noah Gragson secured his third consecutive fan vote win.
Sunday’s 8 p.m. ET start time marks the beginning of a unique event, with fans able to watch two events in one day: the All-Star Open and the All-Star Race. The NASCAR All-Star Open is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET and will precede Sunday’s main event. The race itself will be 250 laps around the 0.625-mile oval, with the top three finishers plus the fan vote winner starting in the rear of the field.
Viewers can catch the action on FS1, with live streaming options available through Max, FoxSports app, and Fubo.
