NBA All-Star 2025 Roster Announced with Exciting Format Changes

The NBA has announced its All-Star Game reserves for 2025, with seven players selected by each conference’s head coaches. The game will feature a unique four-team, three-game mini-tournament format on February 16 at Chase Center in San Francisco.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will select replacements if any player cannot participate in the game. The Eastern Conference reserves include Damian Lillard, Darius Garland, Jaylen Brown, and five other players. Western Conference reserves feature Anthony Edwards, Anthony Davis, James Harden, and seven others.

The 2025 All-Star Roster includes 14 players who will be divided into three teams for a mini-tournament with TNT analysts serving as honorary team general managers. A prize pool of $1.8 million is up for grabs, with championship-winning players receiving $125,000 each.

The game’s format changes include a semifinal round with two teams facing off in one game and the other two teams in another. The winning teams advance to face each other in the championship game.
