The National Basketball Association (NBA) has released the groups and schedules for its upcoming tournament season, with defending champion Milwaukee set to face off against four opponents in New York City.
The group stage of the tournament will run from October 31 to November 28, followed by quarterfinals on December 9-10 and semifinals on December 13 in Las Vegas. The championship game is scheduled for December 16.
Teams that do not make it past the quarterfinals or semifinals will have additional games against other teams that also did not qualify, increasing the season’s total games to 82. Quarterfinal and semifinal matches will count towards the regular season records.
The full schedules will be released in August as part of the NBA’s overall schedule rollout for the 2025-26 season.
