The 2025-26 NBA regular season schedule has been released, featuring several notable matchups and return games for star players. On Nov. 24, Kevin Durant will face his former team, the Phoenix Suns, as a member of the Houston Rockets on NBC. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis will return to Los Angeles as the Dallas Mavericks play against the Lakers on Amazon Prime. The NBA Cup group schedule has also been announced, with the Lakers and Mavericks set to meet three times this season.
The defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder will have several big matchups, including visits from the Houston Rockets and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder will face off against Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets in four upcoming games, starting on Feb. 1. The Lakers and Thunder will also meet twice over a short span in April.
The New York Knicks and Cavaliers have several notable matchups, including a Christmas Day game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Other return games feature center Myles Turner’s return to Indiana as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, Brook Lopez’s visit back to Milwaukee with the LA Clippers, and Desmond Bane’s first trip to Memphis since being traded.
The Boston Celtics will welcome back key contributors from their 2023-24 championship team in Jan. 26 and Jan. 28 games against the Portland Trail Blazers and Atlanta Hawks.
