Knueppel scored 21 points, including six crucial ones in the fourth quarter, while shooting 8-for-21 from the field and 4-for-11 from three-point range. He also added five rebounds and three assists across his 27.7 minutes on court.
Knueppel’s impressive display justified expectations that he would rise to prominence after being drafted with the No. 4 overall pick. His numbers averaged 15.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game across six games.
Other notable performers included Isaiah Wong of the Boston Celtics, who contributed 18 points and six assists in just 22 minutes. Tyler Burton and Javon Small of the Memphis Grizzlies also stood out with impressive performances in their consolation games.
