NBA Summer League Standouts Shine on Day 3

The NBA Summer League kicked off its third day in Las Vegas with a slew of impressive performances. Cooper Flagg, the No. 1 pick, led the Dallas Mavericks to a 76-69 loss against the Spurs and their No. 2 pick, Dylan Harper. Flagg scored 31 points, showcasing his midrange game and dunking ability.

Harper impressed Spurs fans with his debut, scoring 16 points and grabbing six rebounds in just 20 minutes of play. Despite playing limited time, Harper’s performance should give the young Spurs’ fanbase hope for their future.

Meanwhile, Devin Carter and Nique Clifford led the Sacramento Kings to a 109-92 win over the Bulls. Carter broke out with 30 points on 10-for-13 shooting, including five 3-pointers, while Clifford tallied a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

In another game, Terrence Shannon Jr. scored 24 points for the Minnesota Timberwolves in their 94-83 win over the Nuggets. Shannon hit five 3-pointers and had seven rebounds, showcasing his growth as a player.

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ Nae’Qwan Tomlin also impressed with 22 points and 13 rebounds in their 92-83 win over the Bucks. The long, athletic forward finished 9-for-12 from the field, hitting two 3-pointers.
