NC State Dominates Michigan State in NCAA Tournament

The NC State Wolfpack proved once again why they’re a force to be reckoned with in the NCAA Tournament, crushing Michigan State 90-69 in the first round. The Pack’s offense was on fire, led by Aziaha James’ 26 points and Madison Hayes’ impressive three-point shooting.

NC State controlled the game from start to finish, forcing Michigan State into a series of droughts that sealed their fate. The Spartans were unable to score for five minutes in the first quarter, allowing NC State to build a 30-9 lead. James and Hayes combined for a devastating 15-0 run that left Michigan State reeling.

The Wolfpack’s defense was equally impressive, holding Michigan State to just 36.2% shooting from the field and limiting them to six offensive rebounds. Saniya Rivers added to the effort with an outstanding game, recording 17 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds.

NC State will face either LSU or Florida State in the Sweet Sixteen for the second consecutive year, looking to continue their dominance on the court.
