Neil Gaiman’s Cancelled Comics Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegations

**
Dark Horse Comics has canceled its plans to publish future works by Neil Gaiman after multiple women have accused him of sexual misconduct. In a statement, the publisher confirmed that *The Anansi Boys* comic series and a collected volume are no longer being released. Gaiman began publishing *The Anansi Boys* in June last year but had stopped after the seventh issue due to the allegations.

Nine women have accused Gaiman of sexual misconduct, with his website stating he has never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity. HarperCollins, WW Norton, and Marvel Comics have not announced new projects by Gaiman. Other publishers like Bloomsbury, Penguin, Hachette, DC Comics, and Titan have yet to make public statements about continuing to publish him.

Gaiman denied the allegations, stating he has refrained from speaking out to protect those affected by the stories. Several media adaptations of his work, including *Good Omens* and *The Graveyard Book*, are either paused or having their production altered due to the controversies.

In a rare statement, Gaiman clarified he did not engage in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone and emphasized that some of the alleged assaults were false or distorted.

This development comes amid growing scrutiny over Gaiman’s reputation and career, as his work continues to face significant challenges both in print and on screen.
