Neko Health Launches Full-Body Scans for Preventative Care

A new startup, Neko Health, is bringing full-body health scans to the US market. The service uses a combination of imaging and tests, including blood work, to check for conditions like skin cancer, diabetes, and stroke risk. Founded by Spotify co-founder Daniel Ek in 2018, Neko plans to open its first American location in New York this spring. The cost of the scans will likely be higher in the US than in Sweden or the UK, where similar services are offered at £299 ($400). As more clinics open, Americans may see a new frontier in preventative healthcare emerge.
