Netanyahu Calls Trump ‘Greatest Friend’ to Israel

In an exclusive Fox News interview, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised US President Donald Trump as “the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House.” Netanyahu credited Trump with strengthening the Israeli-American alliance and noted that America is no greater friend than Israel.

The strong relationship between the two countries can be attributed to shared enemies, leading Netanyahu to praise Trump’s resumption of arms deliveries to Israel. He emphasized that Israel is fighting a “seven-front war” against its common adversaries. The prime minister also acknowledged Trump’s achievements in his first term and second inauguration, including recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, brokering the Abraham Accords with four Arab states, and exiting the Iran deal.

However, Netanyahu expressed skepticism about a Palestinian state in Gaza, citing Hamas’s mismanagement of the territory. He stressed that peace in the Middle East can be achieved through “peace through strength” and praised Trump’s plan to relocate Gazans, viewing it as a novel approach.

Netanyahu highlighted the significance of Trump’s presidency, stating that he is making significant changes in the Israeli-American alliance. The prime minister described Trump as a “great leader for America and the world,” marking a strong endorsement of the US president by Israel’s leader.
