Netanyahu to Meet Orban Amidst ICC Arrest Warrant

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has reassured that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested during his visit on Wednesday. Despite an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant issued for Netanyahu and others in November 2024, Hungary emphasized its commitment to uphold the country’s security considerations. The ICC warrant stems from alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the Gaza war. Other European nations have also warned that Netanyahu would face detention if he set foot on their soil.
