Netflix co-CEOs Greg Peters and Ted Sarandos made a confident visit to the Warner Bros. Discovery studio lot on Wednesday with David Zaslav as their guide. The duo posed for photos in front of the water tower, chatted with employees, and seemed poised to take on new roles.
The visit came days after the WBD board rejected Paramount’s $108 billion hostile takeover bid in favor of Netflix’s $83 billion offer. Peters and Sarandos gave assurances that they would grow the business and continue theatrical releases until 2029.
However, their seemingly friendly gesture has raised eyebrows, given Peters’ previous comments on the deal being a done deal for David Ellison. Despite this, the co-CEOs appeared optimistic about the future of Netflix and its partnership with WBD.
