South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron, who rose to fame after a drunken-driving crash in 2022, was found dead in her home on Sunday at the age of 24. The police have stated that they are investigating the circumstances of her death and have not yet found any signs of foul play.
Kim’s acting career began when she was just nine years old, with roles in films like “The Man from Nowhere” (2010) and “The Neighbor” (2012). However, after a DUI crash in May 2022, she stepped away from acting due to public humiliation. Despite attempts to return to the industry last year, Kim ultimately removed herself again over health issues.
Kim’s most recent release was the Netflix series “Bloodhounds.” She won numerous awards throughout her career and was honored as “Best New Actress” at several Korean arts awards ceremonies.
