Ukraine has received a batch of US-made F-16 fighter jets from the Netherlands, according to Defence Minister Rustem Umerov. The aircraft will be used in conjunction with French Mirage jets to enhance Ukraine’s military capabilities.
The delivery comes after months of diplomatic efforts between the two countries, and marks an important step in strengthening Ukraine’s defence against Russian aggression. Umerov expressed his gratitude for the support, stating that the jets will “soon begin carrying out combat missions” to bolster the country’s security.
