This week brings a plethora of exciting new game releases across various platforms. For Metroidvania fans, there’s Mark of the Deep and Somber Echoes, both coming out on January 24th and 21st respectively. The latter has striking visuals and a compelling storyline with multiple endings.
On the other hand, PC players can finally get their hands on Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which picks up right where the Remake left off. The game promises fast-paced battles, side quests, and minigames, making it a must-play for fans of the series.
Diablo 4’s new season, Season of Witchcraft, is also arriving this week, bringing with it witches who can share their occult knowledge and help players hunt down Headrotten monsters. The season also introduces a new system for saving and loading preset loadouts.
Other notable releases include Pairs & Perils, a roguelike deck builder; Border Town, a farming sim and sandbox game; Wren’s Resurgence, a 2D platformer with an emphasis on martial arts skills; and Super Farming Boy, a wacky adventure that requires just one button to play.
