New Indie Games and Mobile Platform Push

Nintendo’s Indie World showcase has revealed several new titles, including UFO 50, Is This Seat Taken?, and Ball x Pit. Additionally, Mina the Hollower is confirmed for Switch and Switch 2 releases.

A project called Port Quest aims to assist successful developers in bringing their games to mobile platforms. Applications are open now with a September 15 closure date.

New indie game releases include Ritual of Raven, a farming sim turned deckbuilder; Kimchi: A Stars in the Trash Story, a free cat museum exploration game; and Turbo Kid, a gory Metroidvania.

Upcoming releases include Out and About, a foraging adventure with real-life plants; Rogue Labyrinth, a story-driven action title with projectile abilities; Adventure of Samsara, a pixel art Metroidvania; Autumn with the Shiba Inu, a mystery visual novel sequel; Dude, Where Is My Beer? A New Hop, a point-and-click adventure game; and Concierge, a surrealist non-linear game.

Port Quest is designed to help successful developers bring their games to mobile platforms. Applications are open now, but only eligible games with at least $10,000 per month revenue for the last six months will be considered.
