Major stars kicked off the final New Music Friday before Easter 2025 with a batch of highly anticipated releases. Lana Del Rey’s new ballad, “Bluebird,” marked her country-leaning album debut, while Morgan Wallen collaborated with Post Malone on their “resurrection-of-Jesus” themed song, “I Ain’t Coming Back.”
Other notable drops included Addison Rae’s trend-setting pop anthem, “Headphones On,” and Davido’s dance-inducing Afrobeats album. The week also saw a number of collaborations, such as Tommy Richman and Sexyy Red’s team-up on “Actin Up With Sexyy Red,” Xavi and Netón Vega’s duet on “Hija de Papi,” and Whiz Khalifa’s feature-heavy album, Kush + Orange Juice 2.
