Fox’s popular procedural drama 9-1-1 has launched a new spin-off series titled 9-1-1: Nashville, set in the city known for its rich music scene. The show is already in production and will premiere on ABC. Ryan Murphy and Tim Minear, co-creators of the original series, are keeping details about the premise under wraps but have confirmed that music will play a significant role in the new series.
According to showrunner Tim Minear, characters may know the music industry, and fans may be wondering if existing characters from 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star could join the Nashville team. However, Minear stated there are no current plans for this crossover, but it’s not entirely ruled out.
The new series is expected to premiere in fall 2025 or possibly midseason, depending on ABC’s schedule. Fans can watch 9-1-1: Nashville on ABC and also stream it live through services like Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV, or Sling. New episodes will be available on Hulu the next day, with plans starting at $9.99 per month.
