A performer who displayed a Sudanese-Palestinian flag during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show has been banned from all NFL stadiums and events for life. The incident occurred on February 9 when the individual stood on a prop car, held up the flag, and was chased off by security before being tackled. The NFL said no one involved with the production knew about the performer’s intent and condemned white supremacy. The show continued without interruption. This comes after a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas released Israeli hostages and hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
