NFL Draft Predictions and Ravens’ Defensive Line Needs

The Baltimore Ravens are set to make moves in the draft to bolster their defensive line. With Michael Pierce’s retirement, there’s room for a young stud to join the rotation. The team has gone from 13 sacks to 6.5 with Nnamdi Madubuike last season, and adding another interior pass rusher could help him destroy quarterbacks.

The Ravens would benefit from a stronger defensive line, as seen in the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl victory. Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow don’t want Baltimore’s interior pass rush to become stronger.

Some talented defensive linemen might be available at No. 59, including Darius Alexander, Kenneth Grant, and Tyleik Williams. Derrick Harmon of Oregon is a top prospect who could easily be a top-20 pick. The Browns and Steelers have also visited him this week.

De’Andre Hopkins, playing for the Chiefs in 2024, has plenty left to offer the Ravens if they consider drafting him. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. mentions Penn State safety Kevin Winston Jr. as a potential Round 2 target after his ACL surgery concern diminished by running a sub 4.5 at Pro Day.
