NFL Wild Card Weekend Schedule and Bracket Update

The 14 teams remaining in the 2024 NFL season are one step closer to competing for a spot in Super Bowl 59. The league’s super wild-card weekend is set to kick off on Saturday, January 11, with six playoff games taking place over three days.

The six teams participating in the wild card games are:

AFC:
– Los Angeles Chargers (11-6)
– Denver Broncos (10-7)
– Baltimore Ravens (12-5)
– Houston Texans (10-7)
– Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7)

NFC:
– Philadelphia Eagles (14-3)
– Green Bay Packers (11-6)
– Washington Commanders (12-5)
– Los Angeles Rams (10-7)

The playoff bracket isn’t fixed, and the teams will face each other in a best-of-five format. The No. 1 seeds – Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions – will receive byes for finishing with the best record in each conference.

Once the wild card winners play their divisional opponents, the AFC’s divisional round bracket will be set in full, while the NFC divisional round bracket won’t be set until after the Rams and Vikings square off on Monday night.
